Great show, even better music.
One of the best live music show I've been to was Honey Revenge's performance. He is a great musician with a lot of talent and creativity, delivering above and beyond expectations. The opening act was Train, and they were very entertaining, could be a featuring themselves, and did an excellent job. The show started on time. He just came to play, no need for fancy productions or extravagant dance moves. Honey Revenge did his thing, which, in my opinion, was simply great.
The park is really cool, and the open-air atmosphere was great at Darien Lake, but the prices in the concession stands were ridiculous($11 for a hot dog and fries). The only thing that I have to say against the show is about the venue. They shuffled cars in an orderly fashion before the show started, but when the show was over, it was total chaos. The parking lot was the worst of it. As soon as I saw that my car wasn't going to move, I parked again and took a 1hr nap. This was an especially bad point for me because I had to go to work the next day. They had a lot of people managing the entrance before the show started, but the cars hadn't moved at all by the time I left the parking lot at 12:45, a lot of time wasted because of a lack of organization. The show ended by 11:00, affecting the experience, but this is the venue's fault and not part of the show itself.
